This year's recently concluded Comic-Con at San Diego provided fans a unique opportunity to meet their favorite cast members and get some spoilers for the upcoming season of TV shows.

"Doctor Who" did not lag behind as stars Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, Michelle Gomez, as well as showrunners Steven Moffat and producer Brian Minchin took to the stage.

The best part of attending the "Doctor Who" panel was that fans saw the official trailer of the iconic BBC America show. The action-packed clip not only showed images of Daleks, the return of Missy and Clara donning a spacesuit, but it also gave seasoned viewers the first glimpse into "Game Of Thrones" actress Maisie Williams' role in the long-running franchise.

Williams' role is kept under wraps but judging by the trailer, the Doctor certainly recognizes her. He exclaims, "You!" when Maisie's character unveils herself. To which her cheeky character replies, "What took you so long, old man?"

TVGuide reports that Missy and Doctor's dynamic will certainly change in the upcoming season. Moreover, while many enthusiasts of the popular show wish to have a female doctor, Moffat cleared the air that there was currently no vacancy for the Doctor's position.

As for the newest incarnation of the Doctor, Capaldi cited, "(He's) mysterious, He's a time lord. He's not a guy. But if he was a guy, he'd have my face and be really nice" reports TVLine. Fans should also expect Clara to brush up the Doctor's social skills.

Gomez, who plays the Master's role, also had some words to share about the Doctor-Master relationship, "It's kind of like the best friend that you love to hate. This great friendship that just went wrong. It's her life's purpose to chase the Doctor and make him realize that 'No, you started it. I'm right."

"Doctor Who" will be back on Sept. 19, 2015 on BBC America.
