"Dragon Ball Super" finally wrapped up the Champa saga. The storyline ended on a positive note, with several avenues for future storylines laid out. Now, Goku is set to fight an opponent that was previously considered to be weak. But is Monaka really weak or was it just for show?

The previous episode, "The Wish Is Granted," was aptly named as episode 41 saw Beerus making a wish on Super Shenron. Bulma's initial fears on what the God of Destruction would wish for turned out to be pointless as he simply wished for Universe 6's Earth to be revived. The episode also saw Cabba inviting Vegeta to Planet Salad so he can spend time with Saiyans again and Goku casually making friends with Omni-King Zeno.

It actually seemed that everyone had gotten what they wished for. However, it looks like something has changed in episode 42. Titled "An Uproar at the Victory Celebration! Facing Off at Last?! Monaka vs. Son Goku," the episode will reportedly see Goku and the rest of Universe 7's team members celebrating their victory over Universe 6. However, their party is cut short when Zeno, the Lord of Everything, appears.

Why Zeno has appeared on Earth is a mystery, although he might be looking for more entertainment in the form of another martial arts tournament. After all, the powerful god found the competition between Universe 6 and 7 enjoyable.

The trailer for the upcoming episode shows a fight currently underway between Goku and Monaka. The clip starts with the two already trading punches, when suddenly Goku is thrown off with just one punch from Monaka. Chi Chi, Beerus, and Wis look surprised, and rightly so as the fighter didn't seem too powerful in the last fight. There's also a shot of Krillin using Solar Flare and Piccolo's arm strangely growing longer as he reaches out to touch Goku.

It's possible that this fight might be more of a friendly spar than a really serious competition. However, it would be interesting to see if Monaka was really fighting at full power last week or if he was hiding his full strength.

The titles for the next few episodes were released and it seems that fans will be getting several light fillers. Episode 43 is reportedly titled "Struggling to Take Care of Pan," while episode 44 is "Secret of the Unleashed Superhuman Water." Vegeta fans will undoubtedly enjoy episode 45, "The Amazing Copy Vegeta."

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 42 is set to be aired at 9 a.m., May 8, on Fuji TV.
