'Dragon Ball Super' episode 49 spoilers: The Black returns

(Facebook / Dragon Ball Super)The heroes of "Dragon Ball Super" meet the characters from the future.

In episode 48 of "Dragon Ball Super," Goku was briefly mistaken for his evil counterpart. The future Trunks successfully traveled back in time during a fight with Black and he wakes up to see the present Goku. While Black Goku was shown confused about the time machine, he will figure out what it is in the next episode titled "A Message from the Future! Goku Black Invades!"

Heroes in the present will get a message from the future and it does not look good. In the preview, Black Goku is seen back from the future preparing to fight against Son Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks. Picking up from the last scene, the trailer shows Future Trunks attacking Son Goku, while he tries to stop his ally. Son Goku says, "Hey, it is Goku! What's wrong, Trunks? I thought the future was at peace."

As several scenes are shown, Goku is heard on the background surprised saying, "What!? It's under attack by someone who looks like me? Is he stronger than me?" The Black Goku is seen appearing in the skies with dark clouds beneath him as Son Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks look on. The last scene shows both Gokus powering up.

The appearance of the Black Goku was happily welcomed by the fans of the anime series. His origin is yet unknown, but while others are led to believe that Black Goku is none other than the present Son Goky who was succumbed to the bad side, many more believe that he is a completely different person.

There are speculations saying that the Black Goku is responsible for the death of Son Goku and Vegeta, which is why the future Trunks coursed the time machine to the moment where he appeared in the present timeline. The speculation is further strengthened by the appearance of Black Goku at the same time.

With the future Trunks by their side, will the heroes find a way to stop the chaotic future from happening?
