As the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 is titled "Inheritor of Saiyan Blood: Trunks Resolve," many fans are now speculating who the character in reference could be. While there are others who believe that it can refer to either Trunk or Gohan, there are also reports that claim that it will be a new character who may be related to Black.

According to reports, the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" episode may reveal the reason behind Black's hatred toward the Saiyans. Furthermore, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 will usher in a character who will be a Saiyan heir.

On the other hand, as the title of the said episode includes the name of Trunk, some fans can't help but wonder what may happen to him. With this, it is speculated that he could find himself in a potential danger anew.

"Though they know that Zamasu and Black have extraordinarily similar Ki, they are unable to obtain any proof that the two are the same person. Meanwhile, Vegeta tells the Trunks from the future 'I'm going to give you some training,'" goes the synopsis of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54.

Earlier this month, it was speculated that Gohan would free himself from his self-imposed restraint to fight. According to reports, his desire to fight would stem from witnessing the devastation caused by Black. Because of this, he will be forced to unleash his hidden might and make Black bite the dust.

Supposedly, this would happen in episode 52 of "Dragon Ball Super," but obviously, it did not. With the original airing of episode 53 delayed to July 31 instead of July 24, fans can only wait and see if the alleged battle between Gohan and Black will, indeed, happen.

Now, could Gohan be the inheritor of the Saiyan blood that is referred to by the title of the upcoming episode 54?

Find out when "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 airs over Fuji TV on Aug. 7.
