'Dragon Ball Super' episode 74 spoilers, latest updates: Old characters will reappear in new episodes

(Toei Animation) "Dragon Ball Super" to feature old characters make a comeback

February will be very exciting for "Dragon Ball Super" fans as new story arcs are expected in the Dragon Ball universe. Some old characters are expected to reappear in coming episodes that will also reveal Goku's participation in the Tournament of Power in the future.

Episode 74 of the animated series, titled "For the Sake of Those He Loves! The Indomitable Great Saiyaman," will show Gohan becoming part of a movie where he plays a stunt double. In the same episode, Watagashi will arrive in order to cause destruction upon mankind after escaping from Jaco.

The yet-to-be-titled episode 75, on the other hand, will follow Gohan as he is summoned by Chichi to accompany his father after getting bored from training alone. Sources mention that Gohan will wear the Saiyaman costume when he joins his father during the training. Fans of the animated series take this as a sign that Gohan is indeed returning to the series as the great one since he was last seen in the Cell Saga. Episode 75 will air on Jan. 29.

Meanwhile, episode 77 will follow on Feb. 5, which will show Goku going to the house of Bulma with Whis. He will then notice the growing belly of Bulma and will confirm that she is indeed pregnant with their second child. The revelation of Bulma's pregnancy is said to make Vegeta panic. This second child, according to several reports, will be Bulla. A hybrid Saiyan who will look exactly like her mother. She was first introduced in "Dragon Ball Z" and later reappeared in "Dragon Ball GT."

Bulla's personality takes after her father mostly and she will develop a very tight relationship with him as she grows up. Her closest friends include Pan (the daughter of Gohan and Videl) and Marron (the daughter of Krillin and Android 18).

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 74 will air on Sunday, Jan. 15, 9 a.m. on Fuji TV.

"Dragon Ball Super" dubbed in English will arrive in the United States very soon on Adult Swim every Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. and on Crunchyroll, same days at 7 p.m. Central Time.
