Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) will discover Paige's (Virginia Madsen) big secret in the upcoming episode of "Elementary." Will he tell Captain Gregson (Aidan Quinn) about it?

In the episode titled "Render, and Then Seize Her," the synopsis (as per Spoiler TV) reveals that the former detective wants the consultant to work on a case for her. In doing so, Sherlock will inevitably learn something very disturbing. As Gregson's friend, he is going to feel burdened to disclose the truth. Is it possible that he has finally discovered Paige's secret illness? Only Joan (Lucy Liu) is aware that the other woman has been suffering from multiple sclerosis. It was actually the reason why Paige broke up with Gregson in the past.

Paige felt that she was being unfair, shackling an honorable man in a relationship that is bound to face serious problems. She does not want the captain to suffer alongside her. Joan was able to talk her out of leaving him. The consultant, however, has not yet spoken to Gregson about Paige. On the other hand, it is also possible that the revelation will have something to do with Paige's past.

Viewers can remember that she quit her job when she got involved in a huge fiasco. It was discovered that in one of their raids, she and her other colleagues pocketed money from the home of a drug dealer. Since Paige cooperated, she was not charged. Soon after, she handed in her resignation. Has Sherlock found something interesting about her case?

Meanwhile, it has been previously teased that Paige and Gregson may be getting married. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Rob Doherty said that the couple's relationship would "evolve and advance." There is a huge chance that the captain will not be single for long.
