Eminem and his management are still mum about his upcoming album. However, there are recent reports speculating that his upcoming album will be delayed because of the rapper's latest projects. It is also possible that no new album will come out this year.

According to reports, the supposed ninth studio album is rumored to release this year, which includes tracks featuring 50 Cent. However, he is busy with his other projects and activities at the moment.

Based on his tweets, he seems to be focusing on his "music game" called "Shady Wars." His official website states that the game is a combination of "arcade and rhythm gameplay with lyrics from Eminem and other Shady Records artists." It has eight songs; each one of it has six battles. The site further reveals that when the player wins battles, they will earn coins that could unlock the next song.

It was previously reported that Eminem has been busy in the studio since last year. But apparently, his tight schedule was for his work on the film "Southpaw's" original soundtrack. It stars Rachel McAdams, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Forest Whitaker.

Eminem's Shady Records scored the OST for the critically acclaimed film, which has the carrier single called "Phenomenal." The album was written and produced by Eminem himself.

The master rapper also announced some good news to all of his fans last month. On his official Twitter handle, Eminem tweeted that he is going to re-release his hit 1999 album, titled "The Slim Shady LP." However, he did not include the release date for it.

After its release on Feb. 23, 1999, "The Slim Shady LP" debuted at the second spot on Billboard's top 200. His three top hits off the album were "My Name Is," "Just Don't Give a F—," and "Guilty Conscience."

The said LP scored him the Best Rap Album and Best Rap Solo Performance awards at the 42nd Grammy Awards.
