Change is very constant in the television and film industry and FOX has proven just that as it has been confirmed that Romeo Miller will be replacing Kid Cudi as Gram on "Empire" season three.

According to Entertainment Weekly, there are not much details about Cudi's exit but sources say he exited the show because of "creative differences," despite having already shot a couple of scenes for the new season.

Cudi was supposed to play the role of Gram, who will be the newest love interest for Tiana (Serayah). Gram will prove to be a good catch for the series since he has been created to go against Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray), the rebel Lyon.

Miller, on the other hand, seems to be very excited for his new project as he took to social media to reveal his stint with "Empire" season three.

Aside from Miller, Phylicia Rashad is also joining the hit series' third installment as Diane, the mother of Cookie's (Taraji P. Henson) new love interest, Angelo, who is played by Taye Diggs.

It is unclear what exactly Rashad will be needed for but it would be interesting to see how her character intervenes between Cookie and Angelo as they start a new romance.

Meanwhile, things may get even tougher for Lucious (Terrence Howard) in "Empire" season three as it is rumored that his mother, Leah (Leslie Uggams) may actually be a threat to him.

Lucious is already facing a lot of controversy lately following his sham wedding to Anika (Grace Gealey). The emergence of his half-brother, Tariq (Morocco Omari) is yet another problem that he has to face since Tariq is an FBI agent and it's impossible to think that Tariq won't try to dig into Lucious' dirty transactions.

Finally, there's Cookie, who is totally done with Lucious after the shocking betrayal that left her hopes for another shot at romance with Lucious go down the drain. Will Cookie also be a threat to Lucious in the upcoming installment or will she still stand with him to protect the Lyon clan's empire?

"Empire" season three premieres September 21 on FOX.
