Reports are suggesting that Erica Mena and Bow Wow are having trouble after just being engaged last month.

Love & Hip Hop New York star, Erica Mena, is engaged to rapper Bow Wow, and though the couple might be enjoying the early stages of their engagement, sources are saying that the pair are having misunderstandings while planning the wedding.

A hip hop gossip website, RhymesWithSnitch, is reporting that Bow Wow's Facebook page used to be flooded with mentions of his upcoming wedding with Mena. Recently, the posts have been erased and replaced with promotions of Bow Wow's appearance in a CSI spin-off series called "CSI: Cyber."

The radio silence is suggesting that the two could be dealing with problems at this delicate stage in the relationship. Mena's past is also into play, with some reports saying that her troublesome relationship with another Love & Hip Hop New York star, Cyn Santana, could be the reason of Bow Wow's silence.

In an interview with Hot 97, Mena spoke of her same-sex relationship with Santana and believes that the outside opinions of their critics got the best of Santana.

"She's young and it's hard to be in this world and have your friends have their opinions," said Mena to Hot 97, as reported by EurWeb.

"It can eventually get to somebody and I think that's eventually what happened," added Mena, who continued that she wishes her ex-girlfriend the best.

"I wish her the best. I think she still feels a way, and I feel bad because I don't want her to go on like that," continued the reality star. Though some fans and critics are saying that her relationship with Santana is scripted, Mena defended the relationship and said that she "gave it a lot."

Mena also talked about how she is happy with her relationship with Bow Wow, and explains that she won't expose the relationship in the show.

"For the first time, I really want to keep something to myself. This is going to be for the rest of my life," finished Mena during the interview.
