Things are definitely getting exciting for the avid fans of the manga series "Fairy Tail" as it is speculated that Natsu, Gray, and Gildarts will be joining forces as they face soldiers of Zeref in the upcoming "Fairy Tail" chapter 496.

The latest issue of the manga shows Gildarts in the midst of the battle zone, and there is a great possibility for him to be seen in a showdown of force with August, the strongest of the Spriggan 12. If the battle will not happen in the upcoming issue, fans can, at least, expect them to meet, opines Bitbag.

It can be recalled that in chapter 494, the manga series introduced Larcade Dragneel. While there is no denying that he is tough, the extent of his powers is still to be unraveled. With this, it is now presumed that Natsu would need to team up with someone else in order for them to beat Larcade.

As the partnership of Natsu and Gray proved to be impressive in the past after they defeated Mard Geer, there are those who believe that the two will join forces anew in their quest to defeat Larcade. Should this be the case, though, fans cannot expect the battle to happen in the next chapter as Natsu and the other fairies are still trapped in their battle with the soldiers of Zeref.

Meanwhile, according to HOF, the fairies will keep on winning in their battle against their enemies. However, God Serena will then show up and use his Purgatory Dragon's Blazing Hell against the fairies. As Natsu eats all the flames of the dragon, God Serena then uses his water spell that will eventually overwhelm the fairies. Thanks to Gildarts who arrives just in the nick of time, though, the fairies are then saved.

Exciting as the events may turn out in "Fairy Tail" chapter 496, fans should bear in mind, though, that everything mentioned here is nothing but a speculation and can only be confirmed once the manga series' said chapter is already released on Aug. 3.
