After months of news and rumors about a DLC for the game "Fallout4," it became clear recently that gamers could soon get concrete information about its arrival. Importantly, along with the news about the DLC came confirmation that the game will see other changes soon and they could be pretty big.

First off, the announcement about the DLC for "Fallout 4" came on the Twitter timeline of the game's developer, Bethesda. In a post, the developer stated that it was aware that fans were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the DLC and they were going to get more information about what was included in it soon. Along with the announcement about the DLC came news from Bethesda that the Survival Mode in the game, which was released last year, is going to be completely changed. Importantly, this would result in scenarios pertaining to food and diseases being focused on more in the game.

The changes upcoming in the Survival Mode in the game are based on feedback that has been received from players so far. This meant that as soon as the changes were hinted at by Bethesda, it got a positive reception from gamers. Cinema Blend states that when they arrive, the threat of starvation will become quite real in the game. Importantly, these threats have already been introduced in other games where players have to battle not just monsters or mutants to stay alive, but also ensure they have enough of food to not starve and medicines to avoid infections.

As for the upcoming DLC in "Fallout 4," there is very little news about the elements it will contain. However, with the recent announcement from Bethesda, it is likely that details about it will be released soon. Last year, the developer announced that players can buy the expansions for $30 and it would come with $40 worth of content. However, many industry pundits assume that "Fallout 4" could end up with the same amount of DLC expansions as the previous game in the series, which had five all told.
