'Fast and Furious 8' spoilers: Dwayne Johnson teases prison break scene; Vin Diesel closes in on Dame Mirren in new set photo

(Official Facebook)"Fast and Furious 8" has added Dame Helen Mirren to its star-studded cast

For the past months, fans have been eager to hear of more updates from the set of "Fast and Furious 8" and the most recent teaser was from Dwayne Johnson, who plays the role of Hobbs.

In a video he posted on his Instagram account last week, the renowned wrestler said a "Hobbs prison breakout" scene was on the way and fans will see Hobbs destroying anybody who tries to keep him down.

According to The Independent, the upcoming scene has already been on the table for some years and it seems that the writers have finally created the perfect arc where the prison sequence can be integrated.

A more recent photo posted by the actor shows Hobbs giving some inmates a taste of his rage and power. Other inmates and even some special forces are down on the floor while two of the men in orange are seen flying as Hobbs gets across the group.

It has yet to be revealed why Hobbs was locked up but it would be interesting to see how he gets out of jail and back on the road with his gang.

Meanwhile, Vin Diesel recently shared a photo of what appears to be a new partnership that will be formed in "Fast and Furious 8." In the image, Diesel's Dom is seen whispering something that appears to be very serious and secretive close to Dame Helen Mirren's ear.

Such a joy and an honor working with Helen Miren... Happy Toretto Tursday!

Based on the new image, fans may see Dom and Dame Mirren's unnamed character collaborating for a new project. Though Dame Mirren's exact role has yet to be known, fans are already looking forward to her contribution to the group.

Unfortunately, the famous actress won't be driving a car, even if she said earlier this year that she's always wanted to get into one of the crazy cars in the "FF" franchise. Her addition to the cast was announced in June, and since then, fans of the long-standing franchise have been eager to know what she will be up to when the movie arrives.

"Fast and Furious 8" is set to hit theaters on April 14, 2017.
