'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location' update: Creator plans to bring back Springtrap?

(Scott Games Official Site)'Friday Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location' may re-introduce a character from the past.

Creator of the successful game "Five Nights at Freddy's," Scott Cawthon, remains mum about any new details of the upcoming installment, the "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location." New reports reveal that Cawthon is eyeing on expanding the game and adding a familiar face in the upcoming installment.

According to reports, Springtrap could still be alive after the events of "Five Nights at Freddy's 3." Fans of the franchise know that the character seemed to have died in the third installment. However, there are rumors that Cawthon is interested in bringing back the character.

The last time Springtrap was seen, he was burning in what looked like the flames of death. With that memory in the players' minds, Cawthon bringing the character back would be intriguing. Its escape from death is also possible since he is an animatronic, designed to last a lot longer even if it goes through destruction.

There are also rumors suggesting the addition of more animatronics like Springtrap to the upcoming game, and it is expected to be equally or more scary than the previous titles. However, Cawthon has not disclosed any specific details about the next title.

Recently, Cawthon had his hands full after working for the new update of the negatively received "Five Nights at Freddy's World" spin-off. Aside from working on the update and developing the "Sister Location," he is also working on the upcoming Warner Bros. movie adaptation of the game franchise.

When asked if he could share some of the behind-the-scenes content for the upcoming title, Cawthon responded on the Steam community page forum, "I would enjoy posting more of the development process, but I fear it would take some of the fun and mystery out of the game when it's released."

"I'm planning on including a lot more material in the extras about the development process for this game," he added.

"Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" is rumored to come out on PC and maybe even on mobile devices later this year.
