No one can deny that "Frozen" is one of those rare films that earned both commercial success and critical acclaim. The film charmed the whole world so it was only natural that a sequel would be in the works. But can "Frozen 2" top the success of the original?

Disney's CEO Bob Iger previously said the company is not in a hurry with the sequel nor will it force the storytelling as doing so might result in a sequel that's not as good as the first film. However, it seems the creative team behind "Frozen" is up to the challenge and reportedly has a good idea on the direction the next movie will take.

"Frozen 2" is still several years away, so it's understandable if the team behind the movie is keeping mum about the plot. However, Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, the director and writer behind the phenomenal movie, say the sequel will definitely live up to the hype.

While Buck and Lee admit to just having a general concept of the plot at this point, they are certain that "Frozen 2" will have a strong, positive message to send to their young audience. In a conversation he had with MTV News, the director revealed that they don't take what's happening in our society today lightly and that they're aware of the influence movies have on young people.

"When the kids [watch] them, they watch them over and over again, and if we don't have a decent message in there, I think we've missed an opportunity," he explained.

Buck also said "Frozen 2" will continue to highlight its two strong women, as the sisters are the heart of the movie. The relationship between Anna and Elsa is a key component and no matter what adventure is in store for the sequel, they will experience it together.

Also, the creative team will likely show a happier Elsa. In another interview he gave to Fandango, Buck said that after the events of "Frozen," the queen will feel like she can start trusting people and have fun again.

"Frozen 2" is expected to hit cinemas in 2017 and based on the hints that Buck has given, it will be another amazing adventure.
