'Game of Thrones' season 5 spoilers, premiere: Iron Islands left out in next season?

Spoiler reports are plaguing the Internet, as anticipation of the 'Game of Thrones' season 5 premiere intensifies.
Speculations have mentioned that a main story feature of the George R.R. Martin books will be left out in Game of Thrones season 5, to pave way to another story line to progress.
Entertainment Weekly reported that stories surrounding the Iron Islands, including subplots containing the Greyjoys, will be left out.
In the books, Martin chronicled in detail the death of Theon Greyjoy's father, Balon. This will result in Euron, Aeron and Victarion Greyjoy all aiming for control over Kingsmoot with Asha, whose name has been changed to Yara in the HBO series adaptation.
Yara is briefly seen in the fourth season trying to save Theon from the torturous Ramsay Bolton, who has transformed her brother into a helpless and mindless minion.
The same report suggests that the sub plots on the Iron Islands will be dodged, with the focus shifting on Dorne.
With the fifth season focusing on the books "A Feast for Crows" and "A Dance With Dragons," new characters are expected to join the cast.
These include the Sand Snakes, the bastard daughters of the fallen Oberyn Martell, also known as the Red Viper.
The daughters all share the name "Sand", which is the term for children born out of illegitimacy or wedlock in the land of Dorne. The Snake in their names is taken from the moniker of their father.
