HBO's epic fantasy drama "Game of Thrones" returns for a seventh season next year, but there are already a surge of spoilers for the upcoming installment. Emilia Clarke teases an upcoming battle and there have been reports on the cast members as well.

At the Emmy Awards red carpet on Sunday, Daenerys Targaryen's Clarke told TV Line that the upcoming seventh season will top the previous season. She admitted, "There's another battle that's epic."

Speaking of the Emmys, "Game of Thrones" bagged the most awards again at the recent awards show for television. Among the awards that it received include Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series, Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Special Visual Effects, and other awards for both writing and producing the series.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that "Murder, She Wrote" star Angela Lansbury is not going to appear on the upcoming season of the epic fantasy series. According to Entertainment Weekly, the actress herself said that the reports that have been circulating about her joining the cast are not accurate.

However, Oscar winning actor Jim Broadbent has signed up to be a part of season 7 for a role that has not been revealed yet, but there are several speculations that he will be playing an important role.

Other reports also revealed that actor Joe Dempsie's Gendry may be coming back to the series after the actor was rumored to have been spotted at Belfast airport, perhaps leaving to the filming location.

It can be remembered that the last time Gendry was seen, he was escaping Dragonstone. After Melisandre found out about his family background, she was planning on burning him alive as the sacrificial lamb for Stannis Baratheon. It was uncertain whether he died or survived the Narrow Sea.
