'Game of Thrones' season 7 spoilers, news: Two new thrones spotted; Highgarden and Casterly Rock to be featured

More "Game of Thrones" updates have arrived as production for season 7 is underway. This time, they reveal two new set pieces and two new locations.

According to Watchers on the Wall, two new thrones will be featured in the upcoming season. One throne remains the same, apart from a minor change, while the other one is entirely new. The first one shows the Iron Throne, but with the Lannister sigil of a lion above it instead of the usual seven-pointed star. The Iron Throne, set in the Red Keep, is still placed below a long window, but the new sigil only reaffirms that Cersei (Lena Headey) still reigns supreme at the start of the season.

The next throne is one that has never been seen before. Featuring a beautiful rock formation, the Dragonstone throne room is the place where the Targaryens, who once ruled over the Seven Kingdoms, used to sit. Season 7 will be a Targaryen back in the seat as Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is prepared to take back what is rightfully hers.

Aside from that, two new locations will also be introduced in the seventh season. Highgarden and Casterly Rock are both set to be featured, according to a separate report from Watchers on the Wall. And while the two places have been mentioned by characters before, they haven't actually been seen onscreen. For those who need a reminder, Highgarden is the home of the Tyrells, while Casterly Rock belongs to the Lannisters. The report also notes that at least two eventful scenes will be featured in both locations.

There is also apparently going to be a huge battle in the upcoming season — perhaps the largest in the show's history. 100 horses and 500 extras are said to have been brought in for the momentous occasion, with all extras being required to receive military training and be free for over a month.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 will premiere in 2017 on HBO.
