'Game of Thrones' season 7 spoilers, rumors: Theon fights Euron; Gendry returns

(Facebook/GameofThrones)"Game of Thrones" season 7 will air in summer 2017.

Production for the seventh season of acclaimed HBO hit "Game of Thrones" is currently underway, which means spoilers and leaks are inevitably going to take over the Internet. And if set photos and videos are anything to go by, it looks like season 7 will see some first encounters between characters, reunions, and returns.

It can be recalled that Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen), or "Reek" as the recently deceased Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) called him, escaped the clutches of his evil Uncle Euron (Pilou Asbæk), with his sister Yara (Gemma Whelan) in season 6. Much like in the real world, family reunions in Westeros are never free of conflict.

TMZ recently obtained photos from the set of "Game of Thrones" season 7 and they see Theon engaging in combat with Euron by the beach. Euron will not be without backup, though, but the photos imply that his men will not interfere with the battle. And while the photos don't explicitly give away the winner, they seem to suggest that Theon will defeat Euron after the latter gains a momentary stronghold.

It was previously reported that photos and leaks have fueled speculations that Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) will finally meet in the upcoming season. A video of the two on set shot by a fan was also uploaded on YouTube. The clip, while short, sees Jon Snow heading down a flight of stairs to talk to Daenerys, who is looking out into the vast view.

Finally, a separate video, also filmed by a fan, seems to indicate that Gendry (Joe Dempsie) will finally return after a long absence. The clip shows Robert Baratheon's bastard son meeting with Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and Davos (Liam Cunningham). As fans know, Gendry was last seen in a row boat in season 3.

Since nothing has been officially confirmed, though, fans should take this news with a grain of salt.
