Fans have been frantically worrying about the fate of Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World." Even though a huge season 3 finale has already been announced, there are some who have taken it to mean as the end of the series. Is season 4 "Girl Meets World" not a possibility?

It was previously reported that a massive reunion of "Boy Meets World" will be taking place. The season 3 finale will have cast members from the popular original series making appearances, which means the gang is getting back together. But many have taken this as a sign that "Girl Meets World" is about to end for good.

Disney Channel has not yet confirmed the rumor, though, so there may still be hope. Besides, the network has pointed out that there are still going to be season 3 episodes airing until next year. 

"We are wrapping production next week on the third season," a representative from Disney told TVLine. "With episodes airing on Disney Channel into 2017, there's no news to share yet about a fourth season."

Of course, this has not stopped fans from assuming the worst, especially since stars Rowan Blanchard, who plays Riley, and Uriah Shelton, who plays Josh, have both taken to their social media accounts to post mysterious and confusing messages.

According to reports, some fans have even started an online petition to move the series to a different network. Since the characters are now in high school, more mature topics are inevitable. Fans are unsure about the show's future with a network like Disney Channel that caters mostly to young viewers. 

In the meantime, fans can turn to the next episode of "Girl Meets World," titled "Girl Meets I Do." According to the plot summary of episode 10, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) will become concerned about her mother, Katy (Cheryl Texiera), and Shawn's (Rider Strong) impending marriage.
