Riley (Rowan Blanchard) will have to face a world without her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) in the upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World."

As per Movie News Guide, episode 15 of the coming-of-age show will dwell on a story fit for Halloween. Titled "Girl Meets World of Terror 3," the episode will kick-start with Auggie (August Maturo) narrating a scary story about his sister all alone in the world. Riley will not have anyone to support her and it is going to be difficult. The episode will reportedly show how important Maya's friendship is to the teen.

Because Riley has never met Maya in the story, all her secrets will remain with her. She does not have a best friend to confide to, to laugh and to shop with. Riley has no one in that world, not even a family. If the scenario will turn out to be her nightmare, the teen will wish it would never happen to her in real life. Riley may not have a perfect world, but she is satisfied with what she has, nevertheless. Her parents and little brother love her and she has friends.

Meanwhile, fans of the show are steadily getting worried on why Disney is keeping quiet about the renewal. As per recent updates, the sitcom will probably be canceled. Even the cast members do not know if there is going to be a season 4. There are even rumors that Blanchard and Carpenter are losing patience with the long wait. If the series will be given a chance to continue, there have been claims that the storylines would become more mature.

Because of the change in theme, it will allegedly be better to air "Girl Meets World" on Freeform. Since Riley and the others are graduating from high school, it seems natural to guess that the next step is to see them studying in the university of their choice. The girls are bound to explore and try out new things. The change will reportedly not suit Disney anymore, hence the network transfer.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 15 will be shown on Oct. 14, Friday, 8:30 p.m. EST on Disney.
