The upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3 will see Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) trying to find her true self.

An official synopsis for episode 6 has yet to be released, but it will be titled "Girl Meets Upstate." It is the continuation of the previous episode.

However, a trailer has already been made public and it sees Maya and Riley (Rowan Blanchard) heading somewhere upstate. "Tell me where we're going," Maya pleads. "To find you," Riley replies. The two best friends then find themselves meeting with Uncle Shawn (Rider Strong) to ask for his help.

Maya has always been quite close with Uncle Shawn so it makes sense that they came to him for assistance. The 30-second clip also sees a friendly joust between Shawn and Cory (Ben Savage). Likewise, Maya and Riley have a fun paint fight.

Meanwhile, here is a recap of the previous episode, titled "Girl Meets Triangle."

Riley and Maya met a girl named Sage (Diamond White), who informed the girls that they need to make a decision about their shared crush on Lucas (Peyton Meyer). Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) and Zay (Amir Mitchell-Townes) told Lucas the same thing about Riley and Maya.

Through her art teacher, Mr. Jackson, Maya found out that she might have lost herself and enlists help from her best friend, Riley. On the other hand, Lucas seemingly arrived at a decision but discovered that the two girls were away. It is then believed that he told Cory, Topanga (Danielle Fishel) and Katy (Cheryl Texiera) who he ultimately chose.

Ever since the episode aired, fans have been biting their fingernails in anticipation of Lucas' decision. The love triangle among the three friends has long been a topic of conversation and it is exciting that the show is finally dealing with it upfront.

"Girl Meets World" is currently on a little break and will return with season 3 episode 6 on Friday, July 8 on Disney Channel.
