'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 episode 10 spoilers: Alex gives up freedom for Jo

Alex (Justin Chambers) is willing to go to jail for Jo's (Camilla Luddington) sake in the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy."
According to Enstarz, the doctor will likely end up in jail after his brutal assault on Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti). Before the series went on winter break, Alex was facing a lawsuit. Because of his wrong assumption that Jo was having an affair with the other man, Alex could not control himself and he beat Andrew up. The board learned about his actions and arranged for him to pay for his crime. Jo's testimony is needed to get him off the case but because of her current condition, she may not be able to do it.
Jo finally confessed to Alex that she was already married. Her husband was abusive and so she ran away when the opportunity arose. She even changed her name so he would not be able to track her. That was the reason why she could not accept Alex's marriage proposal. If Jo becomes embroiled in Alex's messy affair, her husband will likely find out where she has been hiding. With the intention of protecting her, Alex is said to be willing to go to jail.
Meanwhile, life still continues for Jo amidst all the hoopla happening in Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. According to recent spoilers, she will be joining Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) in a very unusual case. Capshaw has recently revealed that her character would be asked to perform a tricky operation on an inmate. Because the woman could not be allowed to get out of prison, Arizona will have to do it in jail. She will ask Jo and Bailey's assistance on this and together, they will experience one of the most terrifying moments of their lives as doctors.
"Arizona's been called in on a case at a maximum security prison for an inmate who can't go to a regular hospital because she's that dangerous ... After the longest day of all of their lives, they all go to a maximum security prison, where they are meant to do something that seems like a pretty simple procedure. It's truly kind of creepy at the same time as it's super provocative and exciting," Capshaw shared to TVGuide.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 will be back on Jan. 19, 2017 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
