(Facebook/NBCGrimm)The magical twig's power will soon be revealed in "Grimm" season 6.

Many are wondering what the fate of "Grimm" season 6 will be now that it has been shortened by NBC.

Fans were sad when it was announced that season 6 would be the final season for the series. Aside from that, reports indicated that the season will now only have 13 episodes. With fans expecting to see a lot of action, there are viewers who are curious about how this will change the dynamics of the show.

One of the show's stars shared her sentiments regarding the season ahead.

Bitsie Tulloch, who plays the role of Eve, explained that though it is shorter, they are still grateful to even have the chance at a new season. She said, "Honestly, we are so grateful to even be going into a sixth season. That doesn't happen that often anymore. And by the end of season six, we will have shot 123 episodes of television and I've nothing but gratitude."

The actress also expressed her excitement for David Giuntoli since he will be directing some of the episodes ahead. Tulloch revealed that Giuntoli is fully prepared for the task at hand. She said that he has been a major part of the pre-production of the show in order to shape the upcoming episodes.

However, she stated that this means that Giuntoli will not be in a lot of the episodes, something which will surely change some aspects of the series. She said, "Well they had to logistically because in a typical Grimm episode, he's primarily in most of the scenes. So it's a really cool way they wrote him out that I can't wait for people to see and I also can't talk about it!"

With that said, many are excited to see what the upcoming season will bring and how the executives are planning to conclude the show.

"'Grimm" season 6 is expected to air January 6, 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
