House of Cards Season 3 spoilers - Is Doug Stamper really dead?

The House of Cards Season 3 release date has not been given yet but fans of the hit political drama series are already anxious to know when the new season will air. 

While House of Cards was originally meant to be a two-season show, it has been renewed for a third season, which was great news for the drama series' followers.

Rick Cleveland, the drama's co-executive producer, divulged in an interview that Netflix will go on with the series as long as actors Kevin Spacey (Frank Underwood) and Robin Wright (Claire Underwood) are willing to play their roles again.

The third season has already begun filming and the series' production will commence in June. However, no clues have been provided as to when it will be released on Netflix. Some speculate that the House of Cards Season 3 release date will be in February 2015.

For Season 3, spoilers have already begun circulating. Fans of House of Cards trust that the political series will not be faking deaths, thus, they conclude that Douglas Stamper (played by Michael Kelly) is already dead. However, actress Rachel Brosnahan told Entertainment Weekly she does not think Doug is dead. The actress who plays Rachel Posner said she has worked with a very kind actor in Kelly, thus, "he can't be dead." She said though she has no clue on what the third season will bring, she thinks there are many loose ends.

The third season will be testing limits. Kevin Spacey revealed to E! News that producers David and Willimon want to "see how dark and deep the well is. " He added they have miles to go before they sleep.
