(House of Lies / Facebook)Bad news on the way in episode 2 of 'House of Lies'

Jeannie hears a bad news from her boyfriend in the upcoming episode 2, titled "Game Theory," of the fifth season of comedy series "House of Lies."

A sexual harassment lawsuit has been filed by Jeannie's (Kristen Bell) boyfriend Mark (Ken Marino) against her. Meanhwile, Marty (Don Cheadle) works to close a potential new deal at Doug's "Dungeons and Dragons" game. Clyde (Ben Schwartz), on the other hand, discovers a problem that could affect Jeannie.

A sneak preview of the episode shows a glimpse of Jeannie's boyfriend's bomb-dropping on her. Mark meets her to talk about something serious. At first, Jeannie thinks that he is going to break up with her, which Mark instantly denies. However, he tells her that he filed a sexual harassment claim against her, which totally shocks her. He explains further that he told Human Resources that she forced him into a sexual relationship.

Mark reveals that the lawsuit against her is not entirely her fault or about her; he even admits that their relationship has been great and she's pack full of fun. The reason why he did it is because he wanted to start thinking about his future after speculations came out that the company is gunning his department. Jeannie points out that she is the CFO of the company and no one is firing him, to which he accuses her of "feeding the corporate monolith." It turns out; Mark only wants to get money from her if she prefers to settle the case. The money he will get will serve as his financial cushion to chase his dream of being a teacher.

Meanwhile, Schwartz revealed to MStar News what fans can expect from season 5. He said, "This season, the thing that I think really pops, we kind of hit the comedic tone of our show a little bit harder this year. It comes off really funny! To me it's the funniest season we've done so far which is great!"

"House of Lies" airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
