Troubles will continue to hound Asher (Matt McGorry) when "How to Get Away with Murder" returns for its season 3. However, these troubles won't really be that serious because, reportedly, Asher will find himself in a romantic trouble as he finds himself entangled in a love triangle involving Michaela (Aja Naomi King) and Bonnie (Liza Weil).

The love triangle involving the three has been hinted by "How to Get Away with Murder" showrunner Pete Nowalk, who said in an interview with TV Line that Asher will be projected as an ideal boyfriend on the show, and his attributes will make the two women fall for him.

"I think it's fun. I really understand how these young people who have been living in a powder keg would grasp at each other. Michaela is going to have to deal with the fact that she just found out another guy she trusted, Caleb, was a crazy, freaking sociopath, so it makes sense to me why she might want to just choose the simple guy who's right in front of her. In many ways, Asher is a really good boyfriend, and I think he's probably a generous lover," Nowalk explained.

On the other hand, it can be recalled that in "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2, Bonnie and Asher called their relationship quits, although they seem not to be over with each other as far as their emotions are concerned. However, as Asher was trying to cope with the death of his father, he toned down his blues by hooking up with Michaela. With this, fans can only wonder how Bonnie will take the budding romance between her ex, whom she is not over with, and Michaela.

Nonetheless, whether Bonnie wins Asher back or not, she is expected to rise above her predicaments in "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3. After all, she is a woman of strength and integrity.

"Bonnie can handle anything emotionally. In many ways, I think she's even tougher than anyone on the show," said Nowalk in an earlier interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"How to Get Away with Murder" is expected to return to ABC for its season 3 run this September.
