'How to Get Away with Murder' season 3 premiere spoilers: new mystery, possibility of Keating Six

(Facebook/HowToGetAwayWithMurder)"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 will premiere on Sept. 22 on ABC.

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 is going to put out another mystery that Annalise and the Keating Five will be involved in. This new mystery will be the driving force of the season and is so enigmatic that not even Viola Davis knows what's going on.

While speaking to Deadline, the Emmy award winner revealed that they were able to crack the previous season's mystery on the set. However, it doesn't seem that history will be repeating itself this time around as showrunner Peter Nowalk has amped things up.

"Yeah, he's presenting a new mystery, and it's going to be presented very quickly in the first episode, which, by the way, we cannot figure out on the set," Davis revealed. "This year we're totally stumped. But with that new mystery, he explores the relationships in a much deeper way."

Davis continued to explain that the upcoming season will also be dotted with other cases. Apart from her Keating Five, Annalise will also be teaching other students at the university, which means there will be a lot of pro bono cases that they will have to tackle. However, fans need not fret because all of the cases will be closed within the third season. Moreover, some lingering questions will also be put to rest.

On the other hand, there is some talk about the Keating Five becoming the Keating Six. The first episode will not only introduce the new mystery but will also potentially see a new member joining the Keating Five.

"Oliver really wants to be folded into the group. He has a naughty side and he sees the fun in the dark," Nowalk explained to TVLine. However, he went on to say that Connor (Jack Falahee) is not too keen on it. Besides, before Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) gets admitted into the Keating Five, Annalise has to approve of it. And as Nowalk phrased it, "does Annalise want him anywhere around her?"
