iOS 10 release date: Public beta testing ongoing; full version to be released in fall

Public beta testing of the new iOS 10 is happening and the full version will be available for download this fall.
The operating system upgrade will enable users to send their messages in many different ways. Users may send messages using their own handwriting. Message bubbles may also be adjusted to make it bigger or smaller, depending on how the user wants their messages to come across. Different animated graphics to match different occasions are also added, as well as a magic-ink like feature wherein the recipient swipes the screen for the message and/or attachment to be revealed.
The iMaps feature has also been upgraded to enable users to make reservations, as well as book a ride with Uber. A smart home feature also enables users to control the light switches, door locks, and electric window shades with the use of their iPhones.
Searching for photos is also made easier as word associated with the pictures may be typed when looking for a particular snap. Typing messages in two different languages is also made possible without switching keyboards.
Perhaps what many of the Apple users are looking forward to are the new images to be released with iOS 10. The emoji board contains more than a hundred and redesigned emoji characters that were designed to suit the changes in different lifestyles. There is diversity in gender and color featured as well.
Women of different colors are featured in the emojis as running, riding a bike, swimming, surfing, lifting weights, and playing basketball. A woman inspector and a woman in a hard hat are also available.
The concept of family in emojis also went through changes. Single mothers and single fathers are now represented. The rainbow, which the LGBT Community is known for, also gets their emoji representation.
Among the most-talked-about emojis is the replacement of the handgun emoji to a water gun emoji. This comes after the recent violence that involves guns and other weapons.
Beta users are enjoying the update. The full version of iOS 10 is widely speculated to be available by September.
