Apple is expected to host another event this September and many people are expecting that new devices will make their debut by that time.

Among the devices believed to be launched in September are the new iPhones, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus, and the iPad Mini 5.

Rumors about a new iPhone have been around for quite some time and although the Cupertino technology giant hasn't made any official announcement yet, the rumors keep getting crazier.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the production for the new iPhone models is expected to start this month. There have already been leaks and rumors about what the next iPhone could be but the publication noted that more of these unconfirmed reports will expectedly surface. For the past several months, iPhone 7 is believed to look much like the current iPhone 6 but only without a headphone jack.

But in a more recent report, Apple is said to maintain the standard design for the audio jack since ditching this feature would not really make a lot of people happy, considering they need to buy a new set of headphones to make them work. There are also reports stating that iPhone 7 will be available in three variants: a base model, the Plus variant and a Pro variant.

It remains to be seen what Apple has planned for their flagship smartphone. Until they make the official announcement, it is assumed that rumors will continue to swirl.

Meanwhile, the iPad Mini 5 could also be one of the devices set to be launched in September. The last iteration, the iPad Mini 4, was released in 2014 and it should be high time for the company to introduce a new one. The Mini series typically makes its debut in October but this time around, Apple might just have one event to introduce them all.

As is the case with other rumors, the iPad Mini 5 hasn't been confirmed but is believed to be much thinner compared to its predecessor. The tablet is also believed to adopt the same chassis as that of the iPhone 6s to make it more durable.
