And the general consensus is that the iPad Mini 5 will be unveiled simultaneously with the next iteration of the iPhone lineup. If not, then it may see a launch shortly afterward, on the 9th of September.

As for the device's specifications, it is widely becoming known for being the thinnest in the history of the iPad Mini. Apart from that, the build is said to be quite similar to that of the previous generation.

The display of the iPad Mini 5 is also expected to be smaller than its predecessor's, although the exact measurement is unknown. Taken apart, the device is rumored to come out with an A9 chipset, unlike the iPad Mini 4's slower A8. It may also run on the iOS 10 out of the box.
