News of a bigger, more laptop-like iPad have been in talks for almost a year now. Fans of Apple have been awaiting news on the release of what has been dubbed as the iPad Pro. And recent rumors suggest that the latest from the Apple camp is coming out this November.

Word of a November release for the iPad Pro is not new. It has been around for quite some time now and tech analysts and insiders are more convinced than ever that the device is still on point for a 2015 third quarter release.

Tech Radar, which initially pinned a September production date of the rumored 12.9-inch tablet, reiterates that the iPad Pro will be released in mid-November. They added that with the demand for the Apple tablet on a low these days, the Cupertino-based company may only ship a limited number of iPad Pros to see how the market is going to react to it.

That said, a limited release may be the smart move for Apple after all, especially since Microsoft is hoping to get their Surface Pro 4 out to the public as soon as it is fully developed.

The iPad Pro will face some tough competition from the Microsoft flagship tablet-laptop hybrid, which is rumored to sport the latest Intel processor, as well as the recently rolled-out Windows 10. Given those considerations, it will be best to ensure that the iPad Pro is at its best when it is released.

If reports are true, Apple is working hard in ensuring that the iPad Pro will be able to compete well. Still from Tech Radar, it was mentioned that the upcoming iPad will sport an OS, which is a hybrid OS X-iOs. This new OS will render the iPad Pro as a real tablet-laptop hybrid.

There are also some rumors concerning what the new iPad will be called. Some say that it might be called the iPad Plus, to parallel its iPhone Plus line.

Stay tuned for further updates on the iPad Pro aka iPad Plus.
