'Iron Man' 4 rumors: Marvel releasing the Robert Downey Jr. starrer in 2020?

(Facebook/Avengers)Rumors claim that Marvel Studio will release Robert Downey Jr's. "Iron Man 4" in 2020.

Despite the clamor of the fans, there is still no certainty whether Marvel Studios will, indeed, produce the fourth installment of "Iron Man." However, suspicions on "Iron Man 4" being one of the three unnamed movies by the studio continue to grow louder.

There is no denying that "Iron Man 4" is one of the most-talked-about movies ever. This is despite the fact that Marvel has not even confirmed whether it will produce one. With rumors claiming that Marvel and Robert Downey Jr. do not see eye-to-eye on his talent fee for the fourth "Iron Man" movie, one can't help but wonder if it is still happening.

However, reports claiming that "Iron Man 4" may be one of the unnamed movies that Marvel has in the pipeline continue to circulate online. Reportedly, the movie is slated to arrive in 2020 and may be the last time for Downey Jr. to portray the iron-clad superhero.

While speculations on "Iron Man 4" arriving in 2020 are nothing short of exciting for the fans of Downey Jr. and the Marvel superhero himself, unfortunately, nothing is certain at this point in time. After all, apart from the talent fee issue that is said to mar the plans for the said movie, it is alleged that Downey Jr.'s age is a factor, too. With Downey Jr. turning 52 years old this April, many believe that he may be too old to play the role, much more when the movie enters its production stage.

On the other hand, earlier reports claimed that Downey Jr.'s Iron Man character in the movies will be replaced by another Marvel iron-clad superhero, Riri Williams, who was been introduced to the pages of Marvel comic books last year. In fact, it is suspected that Disney teen star Skai Jackson may be playing the role or Riri Williams, who eventually becomes known as Iron Heart, as it has been revealed that the character's look was based on the Disney star.

Is "Iron Man 4" really arriving in 2020? Fans can only hope so.
