"iZombie" season 2 is heading toward its season finale and according to executive producer Rob Thomas, it's going to be huge.

At the show's recently concluded WonderCon 2016 panel, Thomas talked about how this season's finale would be even more explosive than last season's ending. In season 1's finale, Major (Robert Buckley) stormed Meat Cute with a shotgun and gunned down all the zombies working there. That was already a big ending, but Thomas teased that season 2's will be even more "massive."

"This year's finale is a massive episode. It answers things and sets up what will happen in Season 3. Our final episodes run back-to-back on April 12, so tune in for a big 'iZombie' night," Thomas said at the panel, according to Comic Book Resources.

Thomas also shared that the boat party storyline will be featured again in this season. In addition, fans should also expect to see the Max Rager zombies that are held somewhere inside the company's premises play an important role.

Another thing that will make the finale big is the appearance of Matchbox 20's lead singer, Rob Thomas, who shares the same name as the series' EP. TV Insider reported earlier this month that Thomas will perform on the season finale at Max Rager's launching of Super Max.

Meanwhile, there are still two more episodes left before the finale, and this week, fans will get to see Liv (Rose McIver) eat the brains of a stripper – which will result to her absorbing the personality, traits and talents of that person.

In "Pour Some Sugar, Zombie," Liv and Peyton (Aly Michalka) are back together again as roommates with Major's help. Elsewhere, Blaine (David Anders) is not feeling himself and this could be because of the cure Ravi (Rahul Kohli) just injected him with. It's yet to be seen how the cure will affect zombies who turned human and back to zombies.

Catch "iZombie" every Tuesday, 9 p.m. on The CW.
