Liv (Rose McIver) has recently found out that there are more zombies like her residing low-key in Seattle. And in the upcoming season of "iZombie," Vivian (Andrea Savage) will continue to persuade her to join the lot, the Fillmore Graves' zombie army to be specific.

"What happens when humans learn that there's highly contagious zombies in their midst?" Vivian asks Liv, as seen in the trailer for "iZombie" season 3. The covert army is focused on one scenario only, the day the rest of humanity finds out that zombies are real and have been coexisting with them. Unlike the hesitant Live, Major (Robert Buckley) has already found a spot in the army.

Major, like the rest of the zombie community, believes that as soon as humans find out that they eat brains, they will be wiped out.

Also happening this season, Liv and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) will be handling a very important case, one which could spark a war between zombies and humans. According to the synopsis for season 3, the pair will be looking into the murder of a zombie family.

Liv will continue to eat the brains of the dead to close unsolved cases. This season, the roles she will be taking include a dominatrix, a stunt man, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, and a dungeon master.

Elsewhere this season, Ravi's (Rahul Kohli) former boss will be making his way to Seattle to do more research on the Max Rager massacre. Peyton (Aly Michalka) will also be busy solving cases. A piece of information from a single case will lead her to an antagonist who is secretly orchestrating this chaos. Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) will cross paths with a human who has no recollection of his evil past.

"iZombie" season 3 opens with episode 1, titled "Heaven Just Got a Little Smoother," on April 4, Tuesday, at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
