'Jane the Virgin' season 3 episode 7 spoilers: Rogelio goes on a dating spree

(Facebook/cwjanethevirgin)"Jane the Virgin" season 3 airs Mondays at 9/8c on The CW.

The upcoming episode of "Jane the Virgin" season 3 will see Rogelio (Jaime Camil) trying to get over Xo (Andrea Navedo) by getting back into the dating world.

The synopsis of the seventh episode and midseason finale, titled "Chapter Fifty-One," reveals that Rogelio will enlist a matchmaker to assist him with getting dates. On the other hand, Jane's cousin, Catalina (Sofia Pernas), is starting to become a nuisance as she stays too long.

Meanwhile, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) will try to bring Mateo to church after Alba (Ivonne Coll) makes her feel guilty about skipping it. However, Rafael (Justin Baldoni) will not approve of Jane's decision. It looks like Rafael has a lot to worry about in the upcoming episode as it is revealed that he will also remember something from his past that involves his mother, which may help in solving the Mutter case.

A trailer for the new episode has also been released online. It teases "Rogelio's Dating Game" as Jane's father goes on dates with a handful of different women. Notable names like Denise Richards, Brooke Burke, Heidi Balvanera, and Carmen Electra make appearances. Rogelio's unfiltered personality, though, causes him to say things like, "You have the breasts of a Hungarian milkmaid" and "You have the raw sexuality of a jungle cat." However, he quickly follows it up with, "But I'm sorry, I'm just not feeling it."

In other news, a new cast member has been added in a recurring role for season 3, reports Deadline. Elisabeth Rohm, known for her work on "The Last Ship," has been tapped to play Eileen, Luisa's (Yara Martinez) new love interest. Described as "soft-spoken" and "exuding tranquility," Eileen works as a guru.

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 will be taking a break after the upcoming episode, which will air on Nov. 28, Monday, at 9/8c on The CW.
