The much awaited movie, "The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2," will finally be out this year.

Now that the "Hunger Games" trilogy is on its last chapter, it is unsurprising that people are having bittersweet feelings about its release. While fans of the franchise are undeniably heartbroken that the upcoming movie would be the last, they are nonetheless excited to see the culmination of the series.

And nowhere else could anyone have seen the anticipation more than how "The Hunger Games" panel was received during the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con.

"The Hunger Games," which first debuted three years ago in 2012, is a science fiction post-apocalyptic film based on the trilogy by Suzanne Collins of the same name. It follows the protagonist, Katniss Everdeen, as she rebels against the power of the Capitol after participating in the barbaric "Hunger Games."

The upcoming movie would feature the events in the latter half of the third novel: Mockingjay.

It is undeniably one of the most sought out panels during this year's SDCC. Luckily, the cast of the film were all present and were willing to talk about the last installment of the franchise.

During the event, Jenniffer Lawrence, the actress who plays Katniss, expressed why she took a liking towards the franchise.

"What I like about these movies is that they take the entire world, and they condense it into this one continent, and they take all these issues and one girl, who took it in her hands. The changes that happened in my life from doing these movies are so permanent that I don't think I'll ever really say goodbye, it'll always be a part of me."

The film's director Francis Lawrence teased further saying that, "Anyone who loves the end of the book will love the end of the movie."

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will premiere on Nov. 19, 2015, so stay tuned.
