'Jill and Jessa: Counting On' season 2: Josh Duggar to appear for a tell-all but will not apologize?

(TLC Official)Rumors claim that Josh Duggar will appear on "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" to address the scandal that led to the cancellation of his show.

After the scandals that hounded him, it is rumored that Josh Duggar will lend his presence to his sisters' spin-off series, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," to shed light on the issues that led to the cancellation of his own show on TLC, "19 Kids and Counting."

Despite the scandals that have surrounded him, Josh is said to appear on "Jill and Jessa: Counting On." A source told InTouch that the very core purpose of his appearance on the show is that both TLC and Duggar know too well that whatever he says on the show will surely spike its ratings.

For the uninitiated, Duggar's "19 Kids and Counting" on TLC was canceled last May after police records showing Duggar having been accused of molesting five underage girls, four of which were his sisters, when he was still a teenager were unearthed. The scandal did not only lead to the cancellation of his show on TLC but also left him with no choice but to resign from his post at the Family Research Council (FRC).

"I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife. I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him," said Duggar in a statement last year.

However, while it is believed that Duggar will come up with a tell-all in his "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" guesting, it is said that he will not issue an apology for the wrongs that he committed in the past. Reportedly, Josh holds on to his belief that everything that he did in the past was a result of external forces that were too strong for him to fight off.

"But one thing you probably won't hear is that he's actually sorry, as he believes that external forced were to blame for his behavior," according to the same insider.

As of this writing, though, the exact date of the episode wherein, supposedly, Josh will tell all remains uncertain. However, another source told People that all the news about Josh's guesting on "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" are nothing but baseless rumors.

"Jill and Jessa: Counting On" has been renewed for its second season and is expected to air on TLC this summer.
