'Jill and Jessa: Counting On' season 2 spoilers: New additions to the family teased in trailer; upcoming season to focus on Jinger Duggar and her fiance, Jeremy Vuolo

(Facebook/countingontlc)Season 2 teases new courtships, new adventures, and a new day.

Fans of the Duggar's "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" will see some major changes when the show returns for a second season. Apart from a slight title tweak, the upcoming season will reportedly have no trace of Josh or his wife Anna.

Despite the advertising controversy that surrounded "Jill and Jessa: Counting On's" first season, TLC opted to pick up the series for another season. The network also appears to be making some changes that will further distance the show from its predecessor.

While the first season focused on Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald, it also showcased Josh Duggar's wife Anna. But seeing the long-suffering wife talk about her husband's infidelity and how she's still sticking by him might not have been the best way to engage viewers.

However, TLC's trailer for the upcoming season just highlights the two married Duggar sisters and the recently engaged Jinger. The clip teases that brand-new courtships, brand-new adventures, and a brand-new day are up this season. The new adventures might come courtesy of new additions to the massive clan as Jessa is seen talking about wanting another baby, while her sister Jill and her husband, Derrick, are apparently also planning on expanding their brood. The couple, who had been based in Central America the past year, has been very open about their desire to adopt and this season could see them pursuing that.

Meanwhile, Joy Anna, Jedidiah, and Jeremiah are also set to start a new adventure as they graduate from high school and embark on a new stage in their life. New courtships are also being teased for John-David, Joseph, and Josiah.

Perhaps it's fitting that the clip started and ended with a shot of Jinger and her fiance, Jeremy Vuolo, as their engagement seems to herald a new day for the series, which also appears to be dropping the "Jill and Jessa" tagline and opting for just "Counting On."

"Counting On" season 2 is set to premiere on TLC on Aug. 23 at 8 p.m.
