Joey Feek, one half of the American country duo Joey Rory with her husband, has been getting continuous support and strength from her fans, daughter Indiana, and even by doing simple things like growing plants in their garden as she fights cancer.

A month ago, on a blog post uploaded by Rory, Joey Feek had told her husband during a reflective conversation that "if He's [Jesus] ready to take her...she's ready to come home." This was after she began receiving in-house hospice care since November last year.

Despite all the hardship she's going through, Joey has been continuously supported by fans of her music, her two-year-old daughter, and by gardening.

Just last Saturday, one fan left a special present—a carton of eggs—for Joey on Rory's car when it was parked outside a grocery store, Inquisitr reports. The present was probably a response to what Rory shared on his blog "This Life I Live" last week that Joey has been enjoying gardening. Apparently, Joey has asked her family to save their empty egg shells so she can use it to sow her seeds.

Rory added, "Planting a garden and raising food that she can feed her family is part of who Joey is. That doesn't stop just because you have cancer or are stuck in a bed for months-on-end. Life goes on. And what was important, is still important to her. I love that about my wife. That, and a million other things."

Also, Rory just recently shared a photo of their daughter Indiana "making her mama smile" on Instagram, Friday morning. The photo showed a collage of their daughter smiling and making funny faces wearing blue leopard leggings.

Joey was diagnosed with cervical cancer months after giving birth to Indiana, who has Down syndrome. June last year, it was announced that a tumor was discovered in her sigmoid colon. Then four months later, it was revealed that her cancer is terminal and they are stopping all treatments.
