'Jurassic World 2' rumors: dinosaurs to be used as security weapons?

The sequel to "Jurassic World" is still about two years away but a lot of fans are already eager to know what happens to the next breed of dinosaurs, especially after rumors emerged about the alleged plot where the new dinosaurs will be used as security weapons by humans.

Initially, fans thought "Jurassic World 2" would never happen after the finale of the first film seemed to imply that dinosaurs no longer have a place on this Earth. However, thanks to BD Wong's Dr. Henry Wu, things just got more interesting.

As fans should remember, Dr. Wu hopped onto a helicopter by the end of the first movie. With him was a case chock-full of dinosaur embryos that will most likely become the reason for "Jurassic World 2" to come to play. What would Dr. Wu do with the embryos? It's impossible to imagine that he took them so he can get rid of them. The most plausible storyline in these circumstances is he escaped with the remaining dinosaur breeds so he can raise them to once again rule the world.

This is where the speculations about dinosaurs being used by humans as a sort of security weapon will come to play. On the other hand, the alleged "Jurassic World 2" plot could also open doors for the sequel's conflict to arise. It could be that the dinosaurs will realize that they shouldn't be manipulated by man. They could decide to stand against humans and end man's manipulation for good.

Director J.A. Bayona has not responded to the rumors yet but many are hoping that the sequel to the hit movie will be just as amazing and visually appealing.

Meanwhile, one of the movie's stars, Bryce Dallas Howard, recently opened up about the memes that emerged online regarding her character Claire's decision to wear heels while trying to escape the dinosaurs which were following her around.

"It's my favorite stuff, just the GIFs online. I mean did you see the really funny thing where it had everyone from the previous film, including the dinosaurs, wearing hells? That was hilarious," she told The Huffington Post earlier last month. She also revealed that executive producer Colin Trevorrow has informed her that the sequel will be a "#NoHeels2018" movie.

"Jurassic World 2" is slated to hit U.S. theaters on June 22, 2018.
