The second installment of "Jurassic Park World" still has two more years of working time before hitting the big screens. While fans are waiting for the return of the dinosaurs, here is a roundup of things they have to know including the film's new director.

The man that helmed the first "Jurassic Park World," which ended up as the fourth-highest grossing film of all time, Colin Trevorrow, will no longer direct the second installment. The film franchise's official Twitter page has announced on Tuesday, Apr. 19, that J.A. Bayona will be in-charge of the director's seat for part 2.

A fresh and interesting directorial style can be expected since Bayona is known for his work in "The Impossible," "The Orphanage," and several episodes from hit TV series "Penny Dreadful."

Trevorrow, who co-wrote the screenplay of the first "Jurassic Park World" with Derek Connolly, will be moving to the role of an executive producer of the second film. Although no explanation was officially released regarding the change, it could be that Trevorrow has his hands full with his upcoming directorial gig for Disney and Lucasfilm's "Star Wars: Episode IX."

As for the upcoming film's storyline, it is rumored to be set outside of the park. The previous films took place in one dinosaur-filled island. But since the last movie showed the escape of these dinosaurs, it is likely that the hunt for these dinosaurs will reach as far as North or South America.

Also, according to reports, the world in the upcoming film will be a discontinuation of the 65 million years evolutionary separation of the dinosaurs and man. Another scene to expect is the application of Dr. Malcom's chaos theory, which is the rebirth of the dinosaurs to take hold of the Earth once again.

Lead actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard have also signed to return for the sequel, which will premiere on June 22, 2018.
