'Jurassic World 2' spoilers, rumors: Sequel to have horror elements

(Jurassic World Movie Official)"Jurassic World 2" may have horror elements in it.

Despite the news blackout of sort on the upcoming sequel of "Jurassic World," the latest on the rumor mill is that the upcoming movie will have elements of horror in it.

Reports claim that "Jurassic World 2" will incorporate horror elements in it as its director, J.A. Bayona, is known for this, thanks to his earlier creations, such as the 2007 horror movie "The Orphanage." He also directed two episodes for the horror series in 2014.

However, without any confirmation from the production, such unconfirmed piece of information will remain as such until verified by Bayona himself or anybody from the cast and crew of "Jurassic World 2." However, it is very unlikely for Bayona to release any statement about the movie as the director has even employed a verbal-only communication with everybody involved in the movie to prevent any leakage to the public.

"Whenever I have the chance to be around that group, that crew, I like to get information. J.A.'s (Bayona, the 'Jurassic World' director) over in Europe right now, so I haven't seen him in person. I'm sure he wouldn't... because you know what, the emailing and texting, you can't go on record. You can't write anything down, commit to anything in writing. So, tonight I'll just be like, 'Can you verbally explain to me what's happening?' But we'll shoot it next year," revealed Bryce Dallas Howard to Cinema Blend in an interview last month.

Apart from having elements of horror, it is also speculated that "Jurassic World 2" will portray the dinosaurs in a different light as, reportedly, there will be some that will be used to bust criminals and drug syndicates. According to MTV, the said part of the story was included in the supposed "Jurassic Park 4" movie, but has now been adapted for "Jurassic World 2" instead.

"Jurassic World 2" is slated for a June 22, 2018 release.
