'Justice League' movie spoilers: Zack Snyder tweets Aquaman, The Flash costumes; Nightwing might appear

Zack Snyder, director of the upcoming superhero film "Justice League," recently revealed in a photo posted on Twitter what costumes Aquaman and The Flash will use in the movie.

The photo shows him posing with Jason Momoa, who will take on the role of Aquaman, with the superhero costumes in the background with a caption, "Deep in it with Jason on JL."

The posted image also hinted that Queen Mera, Aquaman's wife, will appear in the "Justice League" live-action movie. The role will be portrayed by Amber Heard. A black costume is also seen in the background, and fans suspect that it could be Nightwing's.

This further makes speculations about the appearance of Nightwing in the movie much stronger. Before the "Justice League" movie, however, CinemaBlend reports that Nightwing will appear in a new Batman solo film starring Ben Affleck.

Aquaman and The Flash (Ezra Miller) are also set to appear and have a minor role along with Victor Stone/Cyborg played by Ray Fisher in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie. Rumors have it that The Flash will appear briefly in a CCTV footage, trying to stop a robbery. Aquaman, on the other hand, will be held captive in a containment chamber guarded by Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis.

There are also speculations that the Green Lantern, portrayed by Dan Amboyer, might appear in the "Batman v Superman" movie.

According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, Snyder confirmed that the "Justice League — Part 1" will start filming on April 11, which will be two weeks after "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits the theaters.

The report added that "Justice League" will be filmed in Warner Bros. Leavensden studio located at the southeast part of London, with other parts of the movie to be shot in Iceland. Snyder will direct both part 1 and part 2 of "Justice League."

"Justice League — Part 1" is set to be released on Nov. 17, 2017, while the second installment is slated to debut on June 14, 2019.
