'Longmire' season 6 air date, spoilers, news, rumors: final installment to focus on Walt and Vic's romance?

(Facebook/Longmire)Netflix has officially renewed "Longmire" for its sixth and final season. Will Walt be true to his feelings for Vic this time?

The sixth and final season of "Longmire" is gaining a lot of attention from fans online as it is speculated that the plot will revolve around the possible romantic storyline between Vic and Walt.

While the previous seasons suggested that Vic (Katee Sackhoff) has been hiding her feelings for Walt (Robert Taylor), it seems that the latter will finally realize his own feelings for Vic in "Longmire" season 6.

For the past years, viewers have been rooting for the two colleagues to fall in love with each other but things kept getting in the way. Just recently, Walt was romantically involved with Donna (Ally Walker), though their love was cut short.

It was then speculated that Walt and Vic will finally open up their hearts to each other in the upcoming installment. There are other reports stating that they might end up tying the knot in the series finale. If this happens, most fans around the globe will be given the happy ending that they've all been wanting.

However, there are rumors suggesting that Walt will have to go through some problems before he gets a "yes" from Vic. Some say that Vic's pregnancy may come in the way of her supposedly blooming love with Walt.

As fans saw in the previous season, Vic was assaulted in the river. It has yet to be revealed if she will choose to keep the baby or not but based on the scenes in season 5, she may decide to raise the baby on her own. If ever Walt will try to woo Vic in "Longmire" season 6, Vic will have to first let him know that she is pregnant with someone else's child. How will Walt react? Will he accept this fate or will he move on separately from Vic?

There's definitely a lot to look forward to in "Longmire" season 6. And while there is no news about the new episodes' premiere date yet, the new season is expected to arrive sometime 2017.
