Macbook Air 2016 rumors: New laptop to be unveiled this October?

The New Macbook, Apple music, and iOS 9.0 were all released in the year of 2015 but Apple still has more up its sleeve. Aside from the iPhone 6s/7, rumors about a new Macbook Air have been circulating.
Previous reports detailed the possible new specs of the 2016 Macbook Air model and it is proving to be more superior to the 2015 model already, at least in theory. Since its initial release in 2008, Macbook Air has remained almost unchanged through the years with only slight changes in processors with every iteration.
But with the new Macbook serving as the newest Apple laptop and carrying with it new features such as the all-new Force Touch trackpad, Retina display, the latest USB-C port, and a slimmer and lighter finishing, many can expect that the upcoming Macbook Air will surely be a step-up and will try to outdo Apple's latest laptop flagship.
While it has yet to be confirmed if all these new features are going to be ported into the new Macbook Air, Apple followers are just raring to know when the 2016 model of the thin Apple laptop is coming out. Mac users are eager to learn even just a tentative release date to make saving for the new device a whole lot easier. And if rumors are to be believed, the new Macbook Air will get its highlight before the year ends.
Apple is looking at unveiling most of its new and rumored devices by October. If this is the case, the Macbook Air 2016 will share the stage in the unveiling of the new iPhones and latest iPad model.
The grapevine is also filled with reports that the new Macbook Air is set to go head-to-head against the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
All of these remain speculations until Apple makes an official announcement. Stay tuned for more updates on the specs and release date of the Macbook Air 2016.
