'Mad Men' season 7 spoilers: Don looks like he's playing the field while romance is in the air between Peggy and Pete

"Mad Men" has mastered the art of subtlety that was seen last episode when the ending scene saw Don Draper in an empty house with no money, no wife and no children by his side. Diana dumped him while he handed a million dollars to his former wife, Megan.

What can fans expect from the upcoming episode? Although AMC is famous for being tight-lipped when it comes to dishing "Mad Men" spoilers, the episode's description and promotional video provide some insight. According to TVGuide's official episode summary, Roger will pawn off a project onto Don while Joan goes on a business trip. Meanwhile, Pete and Peggy clash over how to deal with an account emergency.

Fans should be most excited to see Pete and Peggy in action since it takes them back to season one when the two had a brief affair. While distinctly different and polar opposites of each other, there has always been a palpable chemistry between them. Will the two re-kindle their romance? Peggy has come a long way from being a secretary to Don and Pete has since been rid from his home and divorced his wife. Maybe an ensuing romance brews as they clash over a problem with a client?

Another character who has been seriously undermined by her colleagues is Joan. Viewers already saw her set on a path of ambition after a client meeting with Peggy. She is rarely acknowledged for her achievements but this may change with her business trip. While Roger and Don are stifled ambitiously due to their egos and vices, Peggy and Joan are not. Viewers would also love to see Joan and Roger get back together, but whether they do remains to be seen.

AMC's promotional video for episode 10 titled "The Forecast" shows Don in bed, covered by his sheet while someone looks over him. It seems highly plausible that he has gone back to his womanizing ways after Diana broke his heart.

"Mad Men" airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
