'Married at First Sight' season 3 spoilers: Teaser shows a bride wrestling with cold feet; air date set for Dec. 1

(FYI)

"Married at First Sight" explores an unconventional way of marriage in that it reverses the meet-love-marry process. While the formula mostly worked in season 1, it has proven a fail in the long-term for season 2. It seems things are going to get uglier as season 3 teases that at least one bride will question the whole thing even before getting married.

"Married at First Sight" is headed for a third season in a few weeks and trailers have started popping up. A video posted by FYI on Twitter shows the three brides and grooms as they prepare for their wedding. While the normal jitters and uncertainty are marked on all their faces, one bride takes things a bit further.

In the last few seconds of the trailer, a tattooed bride tells what looks like her father, "Okay, change of mind. Let's go back."

But while that seems to indicate that one bride won't push through with the wedding, the next words say otherwise. The teaser title card says, "There's no turning back."

While the number of couples remain the same, there are some changes to season 3 of FYI's unconventional reality show. According to People, the show is moving out of New York and settling into Atlanta, Georgia. The mindset is that a different location might mean different results due to the surrounding culture and economic status.

There is also word that with FYI's readjustment in the schedule, the run time for the show might be extended. According to Christian Today, "Married at First Sight" season 3 might have a longer 1-hour-15-minute running time.

While the identities of the couples remain shrouded (save for their faces), the four specialists who created the matches and who will guide the couples through their marriage have been named. They are pretty much remain unchanged from previous seasons: clinical psychologist Dr. Joseph Cilona, sexologist Dr. Logan Levkoff, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and chaplain/ spiritual adviser Greg Epstein.

"Married at First Sight" season 3 will kick-off with a two-hour premiere on FYI this Dec. 1 at 9 p.m.
