"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." has thrived on battling it out with different villains during the last two seasons and it will continue that tradition when it returns to the small screen for its third season. And this time, there will be new villains to face.

In the "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season two ender, it showed the battle between S.H.I.E.L.D. and Jiaying's team of Inhumans and Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) leading Hydra's remaining members to gang up against the peacekeeping spy agency.

But when the superhero science fiction show returns, the group will not just be facing Hydra and Ward as they will go against a mysterious new group.

The group, which will be headed by a yet-to-be-named female portrayed by Constance Zimmer (known for her roles in "Entourage" and "House of Cards"), has the same task as S.H.I.E.L.D. — which is to track down all Inhumans from all over the globe.

As to why the new group is looking for the Inhumans, the answer remains unknown. But because they will be going against Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his group, fans can expect that they will be up to no good.

Talking about Zimmer's casting, Executive Producer and Marvel Television Head, Jeph Loeb, said, "When casting this role, we needed someone that could go toe-to-toe with Coulson. Constance brings a level of wit and spark to the role we could have only dreamed of, and we're beyond excited to add her to our already stellar cast going into the new season."

Viewers of the Marvel TV series have more than just the new group to look forward to in season three. Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) was absorbed by the Kree weapon in the last few minutes of the season two ender and season three will unravel what else is in store for her.

Agent May's (Ming Na-Win) former husband, Andrew, will also be making lots of appearances as Blair Underwood has just been upped to a series regular.
