'Mass Effect: Andromeda' release date: EA to feature the game at E3 in June 2016

(Mass Effect official web site)EA has confirmed that gamers and fans would get more information regarding 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' on June 12-14 at EA Play.

As the upcoming E3 event is fast approaching, fans and gamers are getting even more excited as they anticipate the unveiling of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." All this anticipation will surely not go in vain as Electronic Arts (EA) has confirmed that the game will be shown in the said event.

However, gamers and fans should note that the game will be showcased during EA Play on June 12–14, a live event in Los Angeles and London during the week of E3.

Regarding the actual release date of the game, fans and gamers may be disappointed because the team behind the game already mentioned that it will come out early 2017. This was confirmed by Aaryn Flynn, general manager of Bioware, who explained that the delay is inevitable to give the best possible experience to players.

"We need the right amount of time to make sure we deliver everything the game can be and should be."

Flynn also expressed that the game will feature an open world that will give players a certain freedom and open various approaches to the game. It can also be noted that this is the first game built on the Frostbite engine, which produces the beautiful renderings of the environment and scenery.

It can be recalled that back in Nov. 7, 2015, fans had a chance to see some leaked gameplay footage and environmental images of the game. Although the link can no longer be accessed, those who are interested can click here as IGN may have transformed the video into a GIF.

In related news, some tweets coming from the development team are surfacing online, mentioning some instances of enemy ambush encounters and the hype generated by the press, which make them grin. These could all be pertaining to the game, but fans can rest assured that all the rumors and speculations will be over as the E3 draws closer.
