Microsoft will be holding a big event next month, and as early as now, there are many speculations regarding which device will be announced by the tech giant.

Recent reports suggest that fans will finally get a first look at the Microsoft Surface Book 2, which has long been rumored to arrive sometime late this year. However, Microsoft has remained mum on the subject and there's no official word yet if it will be unveiled in October's event.

On the other hand, rumors are hot on an alleged new Surface device that will come this year, while three other Surfaces are expected to arrive in 2017. If this happens, this would be the biggest Surface release yet, with four devices to be rolled out consecutively.

Fans are on the verge of giving up hope that Microsoft will unveil the highly anticipated Surface Book 2 anytime soon, but due to the excitement for the October event, the spark has once again been ignited and potential buyers are looking forward to the new features that this Surface edition will have to offer.

Meanwhile, it is widely speculated that the next generation Surface Book will fix all the issues and bugs that users encountered with its predecessor. It is also said that the device will sport new specs that consumers will enjoy, plus a more stunning design for an improved laptop experience.

For the past months, there have been rumors that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 will come with a high-end variant that will feature virtual reality support. VR is a much-coveted feature that fans have been longing to see in Microsoft's laptop series. If the VR support feature does land on the Surface Book 2, it's safe to assume that more people will be interested in the device.

It is worth noting though that Microsoft has not addressed the rumors or given any thumbs up about the alleged October unveiling so it is best that fans take any report with a grain of salt until the company itself makes the announcement.
